Care thee

Kerala - God's own Country has gradually and systematically evolved into the suicidal hub of India....once you plunge deep into the cause and effect of this nasty phenomenon you can understand that it's simply the way keralites are brought up with few opportunities to unravel the umpteen number of possibilities of "Emotional Quotient" .... that might one day assist him/her to not to succumb to circumstantial pressures thus committing suicide......most of the keralites are emotionally vulnerable to distress when compared to their counterparts in other Indian states.... "Spiritual Quotient" is another dimension where we need to focus as it is today's investment for tomorrow's harvest......Psychological helplines are on as exams are nearing but that's not enough when the present scenario is considered we need to have a client-friendly, round the clock counseling centers incorporating palliative care so that every category of persons can be benefited. Stress management classes need to be conducted in schools as part of the curricula and prayer times should be made for meaningful and humane.

  1. I would be privileged if u could explain....(Quote)it's simply the way keralites are brought up with few opportunities to unravel the umpteen number of possibilities of "Emotional Quotient" ....(Unquote)...Why so!!! I mean I don't know..and would like to understand the reason...So u mean to say the EQ of a keralite is less.....or whatever the case may be....

  2. Quite Ok with the EI prevalent in Keralite youth..from ur explanation...but I cannot practically adhere to it fully..I believe that what so ever is the circumstance..Human mind is capable to overcome it...And it wont be a healthy to glorify these deeds in the shadow of low EI..May be the economic problems relevant in our society, and the absence of uniformity in the distribution of wealth is probably the cause of this massacre..

I may join u in ur endeavor to set up helplines for counselling..yes there exists a need for care..for the battling minds..a guiding light to the path of life...

Even I in my school days had these periods when we were ideally meant to be imparted with value education(its a subject)...but ofter our teachers never bothered to use this as a platform to educate children about the values of life..Yes children need to be counselled abt the worries that they bury deep inside them..what needs is a wave of change in our curriculum...
